The Cuddy - A Family House

The original Cuddy (‘cuddy’ meaning the wheelhouse of a ship) was built by the owner’s grandfather in 1911 then reconstructed
in the 1980s by the owner’s late husband, an architect also passionate about boats and sailing. Built over three floors, it retains a
nautical feel throughout, with a timber frame, painted wooden floors and a spiral staircase reminiscent of a lighthouse.

5 Bedrooms:

Bed linen is provided but no towels.
Lower ground floor 2 x double with cot
2 x bunkrooms with 3 bunks in each
(I x double bunk)
First floor: 1 x en suite double

3 Bathrooms:

On each floor (2 showers, 1 bath)
Washing machine, Tumble dryer,
outside clothes dryer.

Dining/ Kitchen, well equipped with:

Microwave
Electric Oven
Fridge freezer + fridge
4-ring stove
Toaster
Cooking utensils
Cutlery and crockery
Cookery books, local maps, telephone
Seating for 12 people

TV radio DVD player. Open fire,
cockpit overlooking the beach.

Bird watching, surfing, swimming, snorkeling, golfing, walking, fishing,
scenic drives, exploring caves.

Attractions:

Local pub and restaurant within walking distance.
Bus service from Padstow to Newquay stopping at villages en route.
There are many and varied sights to see in Cornwall for all age groups.

Nearest Ferry: Plymouth 50 Miles
Nearest Train: Newquay at 13-Miles Bodmin Parkway 30-40 minutes by car.
